Oklo builds advanced fission power plants to provide clean, reliable, and affordable energy. The Systems Enablement team is seeking a Technical Product Engineer who will influence how engineering teams select, integrate, and manage the software tools that support their work.

Role overview

This position covers the entire lifecycle of engineering software platforms and vendor systems. The Technical Product Engineer will guide each step: from initial intake and assessment, through onboarding, to ongoing management. The role supports internal teams by ensuring new platforms are selected with care, implemented efficiently, and maintained as Oklo expands. Nuclear energy experience is not required, but strong technical judgment, organizational skills, vendor management experience, and an interest in engineering systems are essential. The startup setting calls for both adaptability and a structured approach.

What you will do

  • Lead the process for evaluating and selecting new engineering tools, platforms, and vendor products
  • Work with internal teams to gather requirements and turn them into evaluation criteria, rollout strategies, and delivery objectives
  • Conduct technical research, coordinate product demonstrations, compare solutions, and document trade-offs and recommendations
  • Act as the primary contact with vendors during onboarding, implementation, and ongoing collaboration
  • Oversee project timelines, track action items, follow up after meetings, and keep communication clear across multiple tool initiatives

This role can be based in Santa Clara, CA or performed remotely.
