About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Technical Program Manager who thrives on tackling substantial global challenges with a broad array of stakeholders. This role is integral to the Infrastructure Strategy & Delivery team supporting Stargate, focusing on coordinating datacenter deployments in collaboration with external development and operations teams.
Delivering a data center is a complex endeavor that requires a holistic understanding of commercial dependencies, construction timelines, equipment readiness, design specifics, and commissioning timelines. It necessitates a proactive mindset to foresee potential issues and mitigate risks before they arise.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing site deployment, ensuring that our data center and supercomputer projects are successfully delivered on schedule. You will work closely with our strategic partners to ensure they meet contractual milestones for AI compute delivery. By fostering relationships, establishing critical timelines, and enhancing supplier performance, you will be at the forefront of OpenAI’s infrastructure and organizational strategy. Your Responsibilities:
Lead partner performance to meet essential commercial SLAs, construction timelines, and deployment commitments.
Act as the primary liaison with external partners for contract alignment, risk management, and high-level reporting.
Identify and mitigate risks to datacenter deployments by recognizing critical path items and addressing blockers proactively.
Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and prompt decision-making.
