About the job

Technical Project Manager (m/f/d) – Building Automation

About Us:

At BuildlinX, we are revolutionizing building automation (GA) to tackle a colossal challenge: enhancing the operational efficiency and climate-friendliness of buildings, which account for 30% of global CO2 emissions. With a dedicated team of around 20 professionals, we stand as one of Northern Germany's fastest-growing startups, thriving without external investors.

Important Note:

Are you worried your profile doesn't match perfectly? Don't be! We're not in search of perfection, but rather passionate individuals with a drive for automation and a desire to grow. If you have a zest for innovative technologies, we eagerly await your application!

Your Role:

As the Technical Project Manager, you will guide the building automation development process from project initiation to successful completion post-commissioning. You will serve as the organizational engine and technical support for our projects. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Comprehensive Project Management & Control: You will be the primary point of contact for clients, planners, and executing firms. You will develop implementation plans, monitor resources, and manage project risks and reports, all in a digital, highly structured manner.

  • Consulting, Training & Stakeholder Management: You will educate project partners on the BuildlinX solution and alleviate any technical concerns during the sales process. Acting as the 'advocate for users', you will ensure customer needs are directly integrated into our operations.

  • Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting: During site visits, you will identify structural flaws in TGA/GA and initiate optimization measures. In crisis situations, you will lead crisis management, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and drive solutions.

  • Smart Control & Innovation Support: You will organize the installation of our retrofit solutions and digitally monitor site performance. Additionally, you will assist our development team as a tester for prototypes and alpha versions based on real-world applications.

Your Qualifications:

  • Education: You possess a degree in engineering (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Building Technology) or are a state-certified technician/master in a technical field.

  • Organizational Talent: You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
