Role Overview
We are in search of a skilled Technical Recruiter / Research Talent Sourcer to join our team at World Labs. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of scaling our technical recruiting and sourcing systems, with a primary focus on attracting elite AI researchers and engineers from top-tier universities and industry labs.
This position is highly operational and systems-driven, requiring a blend of creativity, intuition, and a profound curiosity about the AI research ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with founders, research leaders, and hiring managers to align our ambitious research goals with exceptional talent acquisition.
What You Will Do:
- Design and enhance our recruiting and sourcing systems, processes, and tools with a focus on precision, accuracy, and scalability.
- Proactively identify and engage researchers and engineers from prestigious universities, AI labs, and leading tech companies in ML, robotics, computer vision, and related areas.
- Maintain superior candidate data, pipelines, and documentation within ATS and internal tracking systems.
- Devise innovative sourcing strategies leveraging publications, citations, open-source contributions, conference participation, academic networks, and referrals.
- Work closely with research and engineering leaders to fully understand technical requirements, evolving skill sets, and long-term talent strategies.
- Manage the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring thoughtful, timely, and professional communication.
- Evaluate recruiting metrics and data to pinpoint gaps, enhance efficiency, and guide hiring decisions.
- Assist with interview coordination and hiring operations to ensure smooth and predictable processes.
