Your Contribution

As a Technical Writer within our Product Enablement team, you will partner with Product Managers and Engineers to craft content that enhances customer comprehension of our products and services. You will develop effective content strategies that drive customer success through comprehensive documentation. We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic about clear communication and eager to leverage AI technologies to enhance documentation efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compose and refine release notes, end-user guides, administrator manuals, developer documentation, and UI text for Axon products.
  • Foster deep customer understanding and continuously enhance documentation based on user feedback.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, Engineering, Customer Support, Training, Marketing, Account Management, and Sales.
  • Conduct content analysis and devise documentation plans for new features and products.
  • Promote best practices in technical communication across Axon, including enhancements through AI workflows.
  • Collaborate with the training team to facilitate content reuse and develop efficient content and learning strategies.
  • Utilize a content management system for creating, reviewing, and deploying content across various platforms.
  • Support documentation translation workflows and processes.

Work Arrangement: This role is based in one of our R&D hubs (Atlanta, Denver, Seattle, Scottsdale, or Boston) and operates on a hybrid schedule. We encourage in-person collaboration and request team members to work onsite from Tuesday to Friday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays unless an approved workplace accommodation is in place.
