About the Role: We are in search of a meticulous and skilled Technical Writer to contribute to a significant Intelligence Community initiative. This position is dedicated to transforming intricate technical and operational information into well-organized, comprehensible, and compliant documents for proposals, programs, and communications.
The ideal candidate will blend exceptional writing skills with the capability to structure, format, and visually enhance information to meet government RFP specifications. This role necessitates close cooperation with proposal teams, program managers, and technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to guarantee high-caliber, precise, and persuasive deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Documentation & Communication: Create, edit, and sustain technical documents that effectively convey complex information to various stakeholders within the Intelligence Community.
- Proposal Support: Partner with proposal and program teams to craft, format, and refine proposal content, ensuring adherence to RFP standards.
- Editing & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough editing, proofreading, and peer reviews to assure clarity, consistency, and error-free documentation.
- Content Structuring & Formatting: Design and format documents, integrating text and visuals into cohesive, professional deliverables in line with client specifications.
- Visualization Development: Generate diagrams and visual aids (e.g., workflows, architectures) to bolster technical comprehension.
- Template & Style Management: Create and uphold templates, style guides, and standardized formats for proposals and technical documentation.
- Process Support: Assist in documenting and refining internal proposal and documentation processes.
- Repository Management: Stay informed of previous proposal materials and facilitate the organization and reuse of approved content.
