Candidate Profile:Education: Bac +2/3 in civil engineering, public works, or equivalent (BTS, DUT, professional license). Experience: Initial experience in inspection is a plus. Technical Skills:Basic knowledge in material resistance and pathologies of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood. Proficient in measurement tools and comfortable working at heights. Skilled in report writing and proficient in IT tools (Office Suite, reporting software, and design software like AutoCAD). Desired Qualities:Attention to Detail: You are methodical and attentive to the slightest signs of degradation. Analytical Mind: You can interpret collected data and propose relevant conclusions. Organizational Skills: You effectively manage time and resources to meet project deadlines.

About the job

As part of our ongoing growth, SITES, a subsidiary of Groupe Everenn, is expanding its team to support its development in the Occitanie region. You will join the works inspection team, reporting to a group leader. Your mission involves conducting inspections and diagnostics on civil engineering structures (bridges, viaducts, footbridges, etc.) and other infrastructures, providing comprehensive reports to guide the client's maintenance and rehabilitation interventions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation and Planning:
    • Coordinate site visits with the team and clients (scheduling, equipment, and PPE).
    • Ensure the availability and compliance of measurement equipment (photographic devices, crack gauges, ground-penetrating radar, etc.).
  • Inspection and Data Collection:
    • Conduct detailed inspections and IQOA visits to identify and characterize potential disorders in structures.
    • Perform visual surveys, non-destructive testing, and, if necessary, destructive tests (core sampling, pull-out tests, etc.).
    • Identify pathologies (cracks, corrosion, concrete or steel degradation) to propose corrective measures.
  • Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze the collected data to assess the condition of the structure and detect anomalies.
    • Prepare detailed reports and formulate maintenance or repair recommendations.
