Qualifications

College diploma (DEC) in civil engineering or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years of experience in monitoring MTQ construction sites (transportation infrastructures, bridge and structure surveillance) or other public sector clients in the field. Completed safety training (ASP Construction Card). Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle. Fluent in French, both spoken and written. Availability to work nights or weekends as needed.

We are seeking a passionate technician in surveillance to join our dedicated road engineering team. If road engineering is your forte and you have experience in multidisciplinary projects involving transport, civil engineering, and urban infrastructure, we want you on board!

You will benefit from continuous training by industry professionals and engage in large-scale projects with significant clients, including the Quebec Ministry of Transport (MTMD), Montreal Airport (ADM), and various transit agencies such as EXO/STM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the road engineering team to oversee ongoing work in the Greater Montreal area.
  • Perform site surveillance and assist in resolving on-site issues.
  • Compile quantitative data from the site and submit it to engineers.
  • Provide information regarding the interpretation of final plans and specifications to ensure the contractor executes the required work.
  • Verify work progress in accordance with plans and specifications.
  • Prepare recommendations for work acceptance and lists of deficiencies.
