Utilize your extensive experience in the telecommunications sector and your expertise to design, implement, and manage targeted industry campaigns that align with strategic objectives. As a GIS Industry Solutions Specialist, you will conduct thorough research and provide insights on financial, technological, and market dynamics within the telecommunications field. You'll collaborate effectively with key internal stakeholders to define, execute, and assess the telecommunications marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Design, oversee, and implement campaign tactics along with internal communications to achieve integrated campaign success metrics, including:
- Organizing conferences, trade shows, seminars, webinars, and workshops
- Creating collateral such as blogs, white papers, brochures, and articles
- Managing web and social media presence
- Handling press media and advertising initiatives
- Work closely with various Esri teams, including marketing, sales, product development, international distributors, training, and partner teams to successfully deliver campaigns and generate qualified leads
- Collaborate with Industry Managers and Marketing Specialists to monitor campaign progress at all stages, proactively guiding activities with internal and external clients
- Research and drive strategic industry positioning relevant to the telecommunications sector, ensuring validation by internal and external experts
- Coordinate with business development and professional services teams to identify requirements for industry-specific solutions and develop tailored offerings
- Foster a robust user community through printed materials, online forums, and user groups
- Develop deep expertise in GIS applications and deliver product demonstrations and industry insights to support press and analyst briefings, partner interactions, and customer engagements
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience within the telecommunications industry
- Solid understanding of GIS and its role within telecommunications
- Exceptional communication skills, encompassing written, verbal, and presentation abilities
- Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple tasks with changing priorities
- A quick learner with a positive and proactive attitude
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and creative thinking abilities
- A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, marketing, GIS, or geography
