Previous exposure to Mac computers in a corporate context is a plus. Familiarity with IT ticket tracking systems (e.g., ServiceNow). Awareness of current technological advancements and trends in the field. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. Capability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines consistently. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information securely.

Join our dynamic team at ATEC Spine as a Temporary Desktop Support Technician! Under general supervision, you will provide essential systems administration and technical support for both standalone PC hardware and software, as well as local area networks. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of end-user devices and peripheral equipment while overseeing the IT Service Desk. We are looking for a motivated individual with 2-3+ years of experience in desktop support who can work independently and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain hardware and software products, configuring PC equipment to meet departmental standards.
  • Identify, assess, and resolve hardware, software, or operational issues.
  • Utilize troubleshooting skills to determine root causes of system or network outages.
  • Open, assign, and escalate support tickets based on urgency and priority.
  • Respond to IT support inquiries and resolve technical challenges.
  • Monitor the IT support ticket system for efficient ticket management.
  • Communicate ticket status and problem resolutions to customers effectively.
  • Document and implement standard operating procedures for consistency.
  • Manage adds, moves, and changes for computer equipment as required.
  • Provide computer training to employees upon request.
  • Willingness to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
