Qualifications:A degree in IT or a Supply Chain-related discipline is preferred, but experience is not mandatory. In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly advantageous. Experience in evaluating user/business requirements and creating functional specifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Project. A motivated self-starter with the ability to think creatively and work independently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information effectively. Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines. Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. A full clean driver’s license is required. Flexibility to work outside standard office hours and occasional travel to other company locations may be necessary.

Temporary Full-Time IT Business Analyst - Supply Chain

Join BWG Foods at our Head Office in Dublin, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our supply chain operations. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Systems Application Manager, you will be instrumental in identifying and documenting business requirements to facilitate the procurement and implementation of effective solutions and processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing supply chain processes to identify improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency and productivity.

  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to develop user-friendly and effective applications.

  • Gather user requirements through meetings and workshops.

  • Manage projects for the procurement and implementation of specified solutions, including the development of test plans, scripts, and training documentation.

  • Assist in user training and oversee user testing.

  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders through meetings and progress reports.

  • Ensure project timelines align with business priorities.
