Join us at Career Guidant as a Teradata Developer/Architect in Bellevue. We seek talented individuals with strong skills in requirement elicitation and analysis. You will be pivotal in understanding project requirements and translating them into effective designs.
You must be adept at coordinating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders, managing timelines, and providing updates with excellent project management capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
• Proficiency in Teradata concepts and logical/physical database design.
• Hands-on experience with Teradata utilities including TPT, TPump, BTEQ, fastload, fast export, and multiload.
• Expertise in performance tuning and optimization for large data volumes in Teradata.
• Proficient SQL programming skills, including views, stored procedures, macros, and functions in alignment with user requirements and architectural standards.
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies is a plus.
• A solid understanding of BI/DW concepts.
• Essential Unix Shell scripting skills.
• Excellent communication skills are a must.
Please note that this role requires sitting and working at a computer for extended periods, and communication via telephone, email, or in-person meetings. Some travel may be required based on job needs.
