About the Role
As a Test Engineer within the Antares Mission Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test infrastructure for our R1 microreactor. This role encompasses creating comprehensive test plans that cover everything from concept development to data analysis for critical components and subsystems, including heat rejection, power distribution, thermal management, and mechanical systems.
You will contribute to the formulation and documentation of testing best practices, requirements, and workflows that support rapid iterations and high-quality data collection. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure that prototype, development, and qualification hardware aligns with test plans validating key features and performance metrics. This position also requires you to design, validate, and maintain test setups that ensure precision and accuracy.
