Strong familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA and TestRail. Bonus Qualifications:Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript. Familiarity with Playwright automation.

We are excited to announce an opening for a Test Engineer within our Product Software QA Team at Vertex Sigma Software, located in the vibrant city of Foster City, CA. This role is integral to our mission of delivering high-quality web applications, specifically RiderDash, Concierge, and CoreDash. As a Test Engineer, you will engage in both manual and automated testing processes that are critical to our operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating releases and conducting vehicle mission tests, alongside developing and maintaining automated test cases using Playwright. Your expertise will ensure that our applications meet the highest standards of quality across various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance regression coverage and test efficiency by developing and maintaining Playwright automation test cases.
  • Conduct manual testing on features, releases, hotfixes, and pre-merge validations for RiderDash, Concierge, and CoreDash.
  • Perform vehicle mission testing and deliver comprehensive reports analyzing mission outcomes.
  • Leverage AI tools to drive improvements in processes and testing methodologies.
  • Assist in ZPT triage by identifying, reproducing, and verifying defects across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA leads, and product managers to ensure thorough test coverage and readiness for feature validation.
  • Provide QA sign-off for releases, ensuring all validation activities comply with established quality standards.
  • Document test results, maintain traceability to requirements, and track issues until resolution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in processes and automation within the QA team.
