Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesExecute comprehensive electrochemical test protocols, including cell cycling, formation, rate testing, and diagnostics. Operate and maintain battery cyclers, environmental chambers, and associated test equipment, addressing basic troubleshooting and escalating issues when necessary. Monitor overall battery testing operations to identify and resolve issues promptly. Perform electro-mechanical assembly of fixtures, test leads, battery cables, and chamber connections. Set up test fixtures, load and unload cells, conduct tests, and ensure accurate documentation and configuration. Oversee ongoing tests, respond to alarms and faults, and communicate findings or anomalies. Collect, review, and validate test data for accuracy and consistency. Identify and rectify anomalies or outliers, escalating issues to engineering as needed. Compile and communicate test results in a clear manner to inform R&D decisions. Propose enhancements for test efficiency, throughput, and data reliability. Assist in the development and refinement of test protocols.
