About the Role

We are on the lookout for an exceptional Threat Hunter / SOC Analyst to become a vital part of our team. In this influential position, you will enhance our operational security by executing manual threat detection operations and proactively hunting for potential threats. You will ensure that our threat hunting tools and methodologies are scalable to align with Galvanick's growth trajectory. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilize the data gathered by Galvanick to proactively identify security threats within customer systems and networks, and to deliver insights through monthly reports detailing findings and strategic recommendations.

What You Will Do

* Design and execute robust detection strategies to ensure comprehensive threat coverage, utilizing telemetry from across the Galvanick platform.
* Keep abreast of the latest security trends, attack vectors, and vulnerabilities to enhance our threat detection capabilities continuously.
* Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing thorough analyses and ensuring timely resolutions.
* Manage assigned customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and serve as a trusted advisor on threat intelligence and hunting inquiries.
* Explore opportunities to boost overall customer satisfaction and refine internal processes.
* Conduct adversary-focused threat hunting to detect anomalies, particularly in public cloud environments.
* Contribute to the automation and tooling that empower our hunting operations, while maintaining detailed documentation of threat hunting activities, findings, and remediation steps.

Who You Are

* Over 5 years of experience in areas such as Incident Response, Security Operations, Threat Hunting, and Cyber Threat Intelligence.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
* A proactive mindset with a passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to continuous learning.
