Practice Overview
The Transactions group employs a systematic and results-driven strategy to uncover and generate value for our clients. We offer a comprehensive suite of expertise and resources for private equity buyers and sellers, encompassing due diligence, merger planning, post-merger integration, and carve-out support.
Our team merges Integration Management Office (IMO) and Separation Management Office (SMO) proficiencies with extensive knowledge in Finance & Accounting, Data & Analytics, and Operations, covering a variety of engagements, including pre-deal assessments and post-deal execution.
As a Transactions Associate, you will play a crucial role in the execution of M&A projects with a focus on the CFO agenda and Finance functions. You will manage and contribute to projects across various sectors, assisting our client service teams in formulating and implementing transaction strategies.
This position is available in our New York City or Dallas offices and offers a hybrid work model, allowing for remote work two days a week. Ideal candidates should reside near the preferred location.

Your Responsibilities:
Assist client teams and larger, more intricate projects in the planning and execution of operational diligence, merger integration, and carve-out initiatives, including:
- Day 1 readiness
- Transition Service Agreement (TSA) development and operationalization
- 100-day plans
- Synergy identification and model development
- Program and workstream-level project management
- Reporting to executives and sponsors
Depending on the size of the engagement, contribute to or lead the IMO/SMO, including the formulation of functional integration and carve-out plans and execution activities, with a strong emphasis on cross-functional interdependencies.
