The Role:
As an interpreter, you will engage in listening, comprehending, and memorizing information in the original 'source' language, and then accurately conveying it into the 'target' language.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting for individuals utilizing legal, health, and local government services
- Ensuring comprehension for non-English speakers after each segment
- Providing conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Handling sensitive and confidential information
- Acting as a liaison between service users and providers
