Role Overview: The Vehicle Dynamics Engineer will lead vehicle modeling and simulation efforts, with a primary focus on accurately forecasting vehicle behavior while driving performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Vehicle Dynamics team, including Simulation, Tire, and Power Unit Engineers.
- Define essential tests for vehicle model development, encompassing kinematics & compliance, inertia, shaker, damper dyno, drivetrain, and wind tunnel assessments.
- Specify and create vehicle models for simulation purposes.
- Conduct simulations to predict vehicle performance characteristics.
- Engage with Race Engineers to set optimization targets.
- Correlate model simulations with on-track data and feedback.
