Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:Proficient in mechanical engineering principles, including fabrication, design, and metalworking, utilizing tools such as CAD, MIG and MMA welding, and standard machining techniques. Experience with electrical distribution, logic, and signal processing/manipulation, including CAN bus systems, differential signaling, and transmission line theory. Knowledge of PCB assembly, modifications, and repairs, capable of working with SMT boards down to 0402 component sizes, as well as high and low voltage wiring harnesses and circuit protection devices, including the use of oscilloscopes and micropencil tools. Expertise in power electronics, including the design and servicing of high-voltage systems (60-1500VDC and 30-1000VAC), familiarity with various industrial battery chemistries, and the implementation of DC-DC and DC-AC converters.

AeroVect is seeking a skilled Vehicle Integration Engineer with expertise in mechatronics and robotics to oversee the mechanical and electrical dimensions of our innovative autonomous vehicle demonstrator platform. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for developing vehicle sensing and actuation hardware in a dynamic startup environment.

We are looking for a proactive individual who embraces challenges and is prepared to manage all stages of the development lifecycle, from desktop engineering design and simulation to hands-on automotive integration and root-cause analysis. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety-critical design, implementation, and reliability of our ground vehicle hardware, aimed at automating cargo and baggage movement in some of the busiest airports globally.

This position offers a unique opportunity for a technically adept engineer to contribute to a cutting-edge product that merges autonomous vehicle technology with a SaaS business model. You will collaborate closely with our co-founders.
