We are seeking a Vehicle Integration Engineer to join our client's AV Operations Team in Santa Clara, CA. This role is a W-2 full-time, short-term contract position with competitive compensation ranging from $60 to $67 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location. As a Vehicle Integration Engineer, you will collaborate with automotive technicians and senior engineers to develop and maintain our autonomous driving platform, which includes various sensors such as cameras, LiDAR, radar, USS, and GPS. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting vehicle platform issues and ensuring flawless and safe operation of the system on our driving platform. Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are essential. Hands-on experience with installing, repairing, and updating autonomous vehicle hardware, along with a deep understanding of automotive bus systems (e.g., CAN, Ethernet), is required. Familiarity with autonomous vehicle sensor suite hardware and automotive mechanical and electrical systems is highly valued. Flexibility to work night and weekend shifts as needed is a must.
