What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle-level trade study analyses.
- Define and validate performance requirements for our aircraft.
- Characterize aircraft performance and capabilities, and perform simulations to support Functional Hazard Analyses (FHAs).
- Analyze flight test data, identify model errors, and refine vehicle physics models.
- Contribute to the development of flight training devices and pilot-in-the-loop simulator models.
- Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to integrate their systems into our vehicle simulations, covering dynamics, powertrain, actuation, sensors, and environmental modeling.
- Support design and analysis activities to ensure compliance with business and regulatory standards.
- Develop embedded aircraft performance models for inclusion in the aircraft flight manual, flight management system, and airline operations.
