THE JOB
As a Veterinary Nursing Manager, you will go beyond traditional leadership. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing team, equipping them with necessary tools and support to excel.
- Manage scheduling, payroll, productivity metrics, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Handle patient care concerns and team dynamics with empathy and clarity.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and shift leads to ensure alignment on objectives and operational flow.
- Leverage feedback from veterinarians to enhance team development and uphold medical standards.
- Exemplify VEG values—particularly openness, teamwork, and compassionate care.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning through in-house training, mentorship, and development pathways.
- Ensure compliance with licensure and performance standards.
