THE JOB

As a Veterinary Nursing Manager, you will go beyond traditional leadership. Your role involves cultivating a supportive and dynamic culture where your team feels empowered and proud of their contributions. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Oversee daily operations of the nursing team, equipping them with necessary tools and support to excel.
  • Manage scheduling, payroll, productivity metrics, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Handle patient care concerns and team dynamics with empathy and clarity.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership and shift leads to ensure alignment on objectives and operational flow.
  • Leverage feedback from veterinarians to enhance team development and uphold medical standards.
  • Exemplify VEG values—particularly openness, teamwork, and compassionate care.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning through in-house training, mentorship, and development pathways.
  • Ensure compliance with licensure and performance standards.
