We are currently on the lookout for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Vice President, Account Manager - Client Services on our Institutional Client Service team. This individual will be responsible for promoting our subscription-based research services to various departments within existing client organizations, such as hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equity firms, to enhance overall usage and satisfaction.
This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts that have been with us for over two years, ensuring their long-term retention and growth.
- Lead negotiations regarding contracts, pricing, renewals, and commercial discussions.
- Drive upsell, cross-sell, and package expansions within existing accounts.
- Proactively engage with clients both in-person and virtually to strengthen executive relationships.
- Identify and activate new users within client organizations.
- Develop account growth strategies and revenue plans in collaboration with service leadership.
- Monitor usage trends and strategically intervene to mitigate churn.
- Act as a senior point of contact for escalations and high-level client discussions.
- Collaborate closely with client service teams to guarantee seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in account management, relationship management, or consultative sales.
- Strong track record in managing renewals and negotiating contracts.
- Proven success in driving upsell and cross-sell revenue initiatives.
- Experience managing mid-sized to large B2B client portfolios.
- Excellent executive presence and a proven ability to build relationships with C-level clients.
- Comfortable conducting in-person meetings with clients.
- Commercially minded, proactive, and highly accountable.
What We Offer:
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, along with eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus of up to $12,000.
