We are hiring for two distinct experience levels:
- Engineer (3+ years of experience)
- Senior Engineer (5+ years of experience with mentoring responsibilities)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage large-scale, high-availability virtualization environments utilizing VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Support and maintain the VDI infrastructure from a server-side perspective.
- Manage change requests, incidents, and problem management processes effectively.
- Oversee the virtual machine lifecycle in collaboration with cross-functional infrastructure teams.
- Conduct regular patching, upgrades, and system hardening activities.
- Monitor and optimize capacity and resource utilization within the virtualized environment.
- Create and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and/or PowerCLI.
- Prepare and sustain system documentation and operational procedures.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary data for compliance-related efforts.
- Engage in infrastructure projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in the on-call rotation as necessary.
