About the Position:
IDEO is seeking a skilled Visual Communication Design Lead to navigate teams and clients through multifaceted design hurdles, establishing a compelling visual narrative that enhances storytelling across various projects.
Your role will involve collaborating closely to transform our voices, narratives, and concepts into vivid visual expressions. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in graphic design, demonstrating the ability to apply both practical and conceptual design principles across brand systems, interaction and digital product design, motion graphics, and environmental design. We are in search of designers who showcase a unique visual style, uphold high quality standards, and inspire others to elevate their work.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Design Lead, you will be responsible for steering the visual direction of projects and guiding cross-disciplinary teams through every stage of the design process—from initial research and exploration to prototyping, refinement, and impactful client storytelling.
Your contributions will span a wide array of projects, including brand development, experiential design, interaction design, digital product design, and service design. Your work might manifest in various formats such as brand strategy, storytelling frameworks, interaction design, data visualization, packaging, and environmental design.

- Lead project teams while collaborating with diverse designers.
- Engage closely with clients, utilizing storytelling and design to clarify complex ideas and make them actionable.
