Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Compositing Supervisor and Visual Effects Supervisor to assess the creative and technical strategies for assigned shots. Integrate 2D, 3D, and live-action components to achieve high-end visual effects aligned with film standards. Receive briefs and direction from Lead Compositors and VFX Supervisors to complete assigned shots effectively. Maintain ongoing communication with Production and Leads regarding timelines and deadlines. Manage your own workload, effectively handle time management, and act on notes/feedback from Supervisors. Balance creativity and technical precision for each shot. Apply a strong understanding of color space principles in your work. RequirementsA Degree or Diploma relevant to the position. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a film VFX pipeline. A deep understanding of contemporary compositing techniques. Proven ability to seamlessly blend live-action and CG sources. Exceptional attention to detail in composition, color, and lighting. Experience working within a production pipeline while demonstrating strong creative problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Nuke and/or other node-based compositing software. A critical eye for detail in composition, color, and lighting. Consistently deliver high-quality work while being open to feedback. Adaptable and able to work within set timelines, with the capability to estimate time and assess job scope accurately. Ability to quickly interpret directives from supervisors and formulate effective solutions.
