1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in developing visual perception algorithms for autonomous driving.2. Proficient in algorithms for detecting and classifying traffic lights and road signs, with prior experience in urban NOA traffic light perception preferred.3. Strong expertise in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, with the ability to independently train, optimize, and analyze models.4. Solid foundation in computer vision, familiar with traditional vision algorithms and deep learning object detection techniques.5. Proficient in Python programming, with strong skills in engineering implementation, code optimization, and debugging.6. Experience in developing models for embedded automotive platforms is required, and experience with Horizon platforms is a plus.7. Excellent problem-solving skills, teamwork abilities, and a keen awareness of technical closure processes.

About the job

We are seeking a talented and innovative Visual Perception Algorithm Engineer specializing in traffic light and road sign detection for autonomous vehicles. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and iterative optimization of visual perception algorithms to ensure accurate recognition in complex urban environments.

Your key responsibilities will include leading the development of algorithms for traffic light detection, classification, state recognition, tracking, and prediction, addressing challenges such as occlusion, backlighting, rain, and nighttime scenarios.

You will also design and implement algorithms for fusing visual multi-sensor data, train and evaluate perception models, and optimize them for embedded automotive platforms while meeting computational and latency requirements.

Collaboration with system, localization, and planning teams will be crucial for algorithm integration, problem identification, and real-world testing. You will keep abreast of cutting-edge technologies, leading the selection and implementation of algorithm solutions to enhance the stability and robustness of our perception systems.
