Assist with various phases of water/wastewater/stormwater/drainage design projects, including client communication and deliverable generation. Oversee technical aspects of deliverables, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget. Manage project phases, ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards. Conduct fieldwork as necessary. Analyze and interpret data, including field, hydrology, and water quality information, presenting findings to clients in an accessible format. Meet all internal and external project deadlines. Implement clearly defined QA/QC measures. Communicate any issues affecting project phases, schedule, budget, or quality, escalating unresolved matters to the project manager or team leader.

Woolpert is looking for a talented Water Resources Design Project Engineer to enhance our esteemed Water Team at our Houston, Texas office. In this crucial role, you will assist in the technical delivery of projects while managing budgeting, planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting for specific project phases. Your expertise will be pivotal in elevating team competence, quality, and efficiency.

This role involves collaborating with clients across various Water markets, focusing on Water Resources Design, Drainage Design, Utilities Design, Site Civil Design, Data Analytics, Organizational Performance, Process Improvement, and more. You will also undertake additional tasks as assigned to support overall project success.
