Web Administrator (Middleware)
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and configure enterprise-level IIS web farms to optimize performance.
- Manage individual application configurations and coordinate patching for IIS and supported applications, ensuring high availability and effective load management.
- Assist in web traffic management and conduct load testing for new applications.
- Support IIS configurations with various . NET versions and other application frameworks.
- Automate environment setup using scripting languages, including, but not limited to, PowerShell.
- Oversee the SharePoint server infrastructure, manage user access, and lead application deployment, including installation, configuration, security, operation, and maintenance of SharePoint 2013/2016 web portal servers.
- Engage in planning and execution of tasks related to evaluating new SharePoint initiatives such as upgraded versions and third-party solutions.
- Develop, configure, and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists, and site collections while performing standard system administration activities.
- Coordinate with divisions to standardize and optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
- Maintain and manage Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013/2016 on-premises and in the cloud, including daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis while serving as the SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME).
