Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLSA valid Workday HCM Core and Compensation certification is essential for this role. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Workday Lead/Solution Architect in HCM and Compensation implementations. Experience with implementing compensation plans within public sector/government settings is advantageous. Demonstrated leadership experience in at least 3-4 functional areas including Human Resources, Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Time Tracking, and Recruitment. Proficient in translating business requirements into system configurations. Experience in re-engineering HR business processes. Ability to develop functional business integration requirements. Familiarity with third-party integration providers. Advanced skills in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups) and MS Office. Experience with Workday calculated fields. Certifications such as SHRM, PRH, SPHR, or CEBS are a bonus.

This role entails approximately 50% travel, with projects carried out on-site at client locations across the United States.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the Workday functional authority, guiding clients through the complete systems development lifecycle.
Lead clients through all project phases, including discovery, design, configuration, and testing.
Facilitate the seamless integration of the Workday system into existing business structures.
Provide strategic advice on options, risks, and the impacts on other processes or systems.
Customize the Workday system to align with each client's specific business needs while providing insights on best practices.
Collaborate with clients and the data migration team to transition legacy data into Workday.
Support the integration team with the design, configuration, and testing of both standard and custom integrations.
Execute tasks efficiently and punctually, keeping managers updated on progress.
Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the delivery of Workday solutions.
