The Role
As the Workers' Compensation Risk Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the employer-side workers’ compensation claims management program. You will provide strategic direction to our successful EH&S department, aiming to integrate injury prevention with claims mitigation, thereby creating a cohesive risk strategy in a rapidly expanding staffing environment.
Your primary focus will be on building a robust Workers’ Compensation claims framework from the ground up, while also leading an existing EH&S team. This role emphasizes integration and alignment, ensuring that our safety achievements directly enhance our claims results. You will initially supervise one direct report, with the potential to grow the Risk team as the program develops. As a hands-on Risk professional, you will manage daily claims and support our preventative strategies. This position is part of our Global Risk and Compliance team and reports directly to the Head of Risk and Compliance.
This role is remote but candidates must reside within or near the Dallas metropolitan area. Occasional travel to Houston, TX or Austin, TX may be required.
