This role is a perfect fit if you... Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field. Are proficient in Fusion 360 and/or SolidWorks (PDM experience is a plus). Have gained practical experience in housing design and general device development. Are familiar with additive manufacturing processes (3D printing) and understand the nuances of injection molding. Possess a strong hands-on mentality, enjoy crafting in your spare time, and love to solve technical problems elegantly. Nice to haveBasic knowledge or even initial experience in electronics development (PCB design, soldering, embedded software, etc.) and understand what the internal components of our sensors require.

As a working student (m/f/x) in Mechanical Design, you will be more than just a cog in the machine; you will help us build the methane sensors of the future. Your responsibilities will span from the initial prototype to preparing for mass production.

Your Responsibilities

  • Development: Design smart and robust housings for our sensor devices, from initial sketches to final manufacturing documentation.
  • Prototyping: Bring your ideas to life—3D printers will be your best friends.
  • Production Technology: Think beyond just the prototype and optimize our assemblies for mass production, especially for injection molding.
