ResponsibilitiesCore Operations & ExecutionTeam Leadership: Oversee a team of workplace professionals managing meeting operations, Food & Beverage (F&B), repairs and maintenance, shipping and receiving, and onsite events. Provide mentorship, direction, and support to facilitate team success. Operational Management: Supervise the daily operations of the San Francisco HQ, covering everything from janitorial services to life-safety and space planning, as well as all related programs and services. Adapt and implement departmental plans to effectively address operational challenges. Safety, Security & Compliance Leadership: Proactively manage local safety, security, and facilities-related issues. Ensure our workplace adheres to all regulatory and company standards through effective communication of updates and statuses. Vendor Management: Cultivate relationships with key site vendors, contractors, and landlord property managers. Oversee vendor performance through quarterly reviews, ensuring compliance with Okta's service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

About the job

Okta is hiring a Workplace Site Manager to oversee daily operations at its San Francisco headquarters. This role leads the workplace operations team, with a focus on making sure all programs and services reflect Okta’s culture and values. The manager is responsible for executing operational plans, managing the site budget, and ensuring strong team performance.

Requirements

  • Leadership experience in facilities management and Food & Beverage (F&B) program oversight
  • A hospitality mindset with a focus on employee experience
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach
  • Proven ability to guide teams through operational challenges and deliver results

Work location

This is a full-time, on-site position based in San Francisco, California. The role requires presence in the office Monday through Friday and reports to the Director of Global Workplace Operations.
