The Workplace Specialist shapes the in-person experience at DOSS’s SOMA headquarters in San Francisco. This position focuses on creating a welcoming, efficient environment where teams can collaborate and stay productive. The role is based onsite and plays a key part in daily office operations and culture.
What you will do
- Oversee daily office operations: coordinate with vendors, manage facilities maintenance, handle supplies, and keep workspaces ready for use.
- Manage the food and beverage program, including organizing daily lunches and dinners for employees working late.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring quality service and cost control.
- Act as the main point of contact for building management on maintenance, safety, and compliance issues.
- Plan and execute internal events that strengthen community and reflect DOSS culture.
- Monitor workplace budgets, identify variances, and suggest improvements through data analysis.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and People teams on projects such as office expansions and onboarding logistics.
- Identify operational gaps and implement solutions to improve workflow and efficiency.
Collaboration
This role works closely with multiple teams across DOSS, including IT, Finance, and People Operations, to support office projects and ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
