Job Overview: We are on the lookout for a motivated and results-driven Telemarketer with a strong background in cold calling and lead generation. Your primary responsibility will be to connect with potential clients, uncover new business opportunities, and foster leads through compelling communication and effective persuasion techniques. The ideal candidate will exhibit outstanding telephone skills, a high level of motivation, and the capability to work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound cold calls to potential clients to promote company products/services
- Generate and qualify leads using phone calls and various outreach methods
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to enhance the client base
- Maintain precise records of interactions, leads, and sales activities within a CRM system
- Follow up with leads to build relationships and guide them through the sales funnel
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly objectives for calls, leads, and conversions
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies
- Provide insights on market trends and customer needs to enhance product/service offerings
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in telemarketing, cold calling, or lead generation is required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong phone etiquette and ability to persuade
- Resilience in handling rejection while maintaining a positive outlook
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Capable of working independently and consistently meeting targets
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in B2B sales or a similar industry
- Familiarity with sales techniques and best practices
- Knowledge of lead generation tools and software
- Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
