About the Role
In the position of Business Development Representative (BDR), your main objective will be to build a robust sales pipeline by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients through proactive outreach. You will initiate meaningful conversations, decipher prospect needs, and secure appointments for our Account Executives.
Depending on the client, your outreach strategy may vary, some prioritize Cold Calling, while others utilize Email and LinkedIn, or adopt a blended approach. However, a majority of our clients emphasize cold calling due to its proven effectiveness in generating qualified opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and conduct in-depth research on ideal target accounts within a specified territory or industry vertical.
- Engage B2B prospects through comprehensive cold outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Personalize outreach efforts based on thorough research of target accounts and key decision-makers.
- Qualify both inbound and outbound leads to evaluate alignment and purchasing intent.
- Utilize CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive to manage and monitor leads effectively.
- Coordinate meetings and transition qualified leads to Account Executives.
- Maintain meticulous records of all activities and provide regular KPI reports to sales leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to enhance messaging and boost conversion rates.
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in B2B Sales, Business Development, Cold Calling, or Outbound Messaging.
- Preferred Industry Experience: Familiarity with sectors such as Technology, IT, SaaS, Marketing, FinTech, Cybersecurity, E-commerce Solutions, or other B2B environments.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in utilizing CRMs, sales automation tools, and communication platforms.
- Fluency in English: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Remote-Ready: Must possess a dependable laptop and stable internet connectivity.
