About Mitti Labs
Mitti Labs is an innovative climate-tech startup focused on revolutionizing the rice sector by empowering smallholder farmers to embrace sustainable agricultural practices. Our goal is to integrate AI and satellite technology into traditional rice farming methods, minimizing methane emissions while enhancing the livelihoods of farmers.
Supported by NASA-backed scientific research and a robust network of partners, we collaborate with global corporations to help them meet their net-zero objectives through reliable, high-quality carbon credits. Our initiatives include the development of cutting-edge dMRV for rice cultivation, launching a project involving 40,000 farmers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and tackling air pollution caused by stubble burning in Punjab. We've established partnerships with notable organizations such as Syngenta Foundation, Dr Reddy's Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, and Ebro Foods.
Our clientele, which includes Fortune 500 companies and leading agricultural businesses, counts on Mitti Labs to deliver quantifiable impact in the domains of climate, food systems, and sustainability. Our dedicated team consists of over 40 data scientists, agronomists, engineers, and operations specialists.
