Your Team
You will be a part of our Partners team, which is innovating how third-party payment service providers can leverage Primer’s unified payment infrastructure, creating a scalable and flexible platform for growth.
Reporting directly to an Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with a diverse team of backend, full-stack, and frontend engineers, working closely with our Product team.
Our team embraces a ‘you build it, you own it’ philosophy, engaging with infrastructure and overseeing their own testing and QA processes.
Our technology stack includes: Python, Typescript, React, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform, among many other tools.
Your Role
Develop and implement core backend services designed for high performance in complex distributed systems.
Utilize modern development methodologies, including Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Write clear, modern, and thoroughly tested code.
Collaborate effectively across teams in a product-driven atmosphere.
Take responsibility for pivotal technology decisions, ensuring scalability and optimization.
Conduct code reviews and seek continual improvement in our processes.
Produce comprehensive internal documentation for your projects.
Our Ideal Candidate
Proficient in Python coding within modern, complex technical environments.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and a solid approach to writing testable, maintainable code.
