Overview
The AI Deployment Engineer at CrewAI is a pivotal post-sales technical role dedicated to transforming signed agreements into successful production implementations. You will manage the complete technical relationship with enterprise clients, from initial onboarding and integration through to production deployment, optimization, and ongoing expansion.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Implementation & Integration
- Oversee the technical integration of CrewAI's platform into client systems, which includes API integrations, data pipelines, authentication flows, and tailored workflows.
- Create and uphold robust, scalable solutions customized to each client's infrastructure needs, utilizing extensive knowledge in Python, the Agentic AI Stack, and cloud platforms.
- Diagnose intricate technical challenges during and post-implementation, ranging from container orchestration and networking issues to LLM configuration and tool integrations, delivering timely resolutions and thorough root cause analyses.
Deployment & Production Operations
- Design and integrate custom agents, tools, and processes utilizing Python in conjunction with CrewAI's open-source and enterprise libraries.
- Supervise deployed solutions for performance, reliability, and business impact, swiftly iterating on agent roles and workflows to accommodate evolving client requirements.
Customer Success & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary technical contact for a portfolio of enterprise clients post-sale, cultivating deep, trusted relationships with their engineering and leadership teams.
- Conduct structured onboarding programs, technical workshops, and training sessions to enhance product adoption and promote self-sufficiency.
- Proactively identify opportunities for expansion by grasping clients' evolving business goals and aligning them with additional CrewAI capabilities.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers and Support Engineers to ensure seamless operations and maximize retention.
Documentation & Feedback Loop
- Develop and maintain deployment runbooks, best practices guides, architecture documentation, and customer-specific technical references.
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to Product and Engineering based on real-world deployment experiences, challenges, and feature requests.
- Contribute to internal tooling, automation, and processes that enhance deployment efficiency and customer experience at scale.
