What You’ll Do Lead collaborative efforts with engineers, product teams, and analysts to craft self-service insight products that are responsive, accurate, and scalable to petabyte levels.Manage the entire data product lifecycle, including designing innovative tracking plans, developing robust data models, ELT pipelines, and self-service analytics solutions such as Looker explores and dashboards.Ensure the integrity of data quality by maintaining consistent metric reporting across diverse data products.Leverage state-of-the-art technologies, including BigQuery, dbt, and Looker.Provide technical guidance and support to game product teams and departments, enhancing their operational efficiency and product success.Bring specialized knowledge of a specific segment of the data stack while also contributing across various aspects.Mentor fellow team members and promote the adoption of best practices within the team.What We’re Looking For A strong enthusiasm for tackling complex analytical challenges.Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into advanced analytical solutions.In-depth knowledge of the modern data stack (BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Airflow, GitHub, command line-based workflows).Exceptional SQL expertise with a minimum of 5 years in data analytics or engineering roles.Solid grasp of data modeling principles (e.g., Kimball methodology, star schemas).A high regard for business context coupled with a commitment to achieving technical excellence.A collaborative mindset and pride in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
