In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in bringing Ethon’s solutions to the manufacturers who require them the most. You will cultivate new customer relationships from initial discussions to finalized contracts, influencing our market entry strategy, the segments we target, effective messaging, and the operational playbook we utilize. You will collaborate closely with our founders and cross-functional teams on key growth-driving decisions.
Understanding GTM at Ethon
Our Go-To-Market team embodies a blend of technical acumen, sharp intellect, and commercial drive. This role requires you to think independently, not just follow a script. Your responsibilities will span three key dimensions:
Sales
You will engage directly with plant managers, operations leaders, and process engineers managing multi-million-dollar production lines. By spending time on the shop floors, you will gain insights into production dynamics and create compelling arguments for Ethon’s value proposition, overseeing the entire sales cycle from the first interaction to contract signing.
Strategy
Your input will shape our GTM strategy, determining industry priorities, impactful messaging, and competitive positioning. You will articulate where Ethon can deliver significant value and share those insights with the team.
Operations
Your role will also involve building a scalable GTM engine. Collaborating with business development, marketing, and deployment teams, you will refine our processes for pipeline generation, deal management, and conversion rates, systematizing successes and addressing areas for improvement.
Your Responsibilities
Engage closely with customers by conversing with process engineers on the shop floor and COOs in boardrooms, sometimes within the same week. You will understand their operations, key performance indicators, and pain points.
Be present in the field through travel to customer sites, participation in industry events, and hands-on time on production floors. The best insights come from witnessing the manufacturing processes firsthand.
