About the Solutions Engineering Team
The Solutions Engineering team at Rox plays a vital role in shaping our product and defining deals. Positioned at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Engineering, this team is tasked with converting Rox's technical capabilities into tangible value for our customers.
Joining us means you will be part of the foundational team in Austin, working closely with a new Solutions Engineering leader and three experienced SEs from San Francisco. You will help establish scalable practices for this function in Austin. The methodologies you implement, ranging from demos to integration and sales, will serve as the blueprint for future growth across the company.
About the Role
This is a founding-level Solutions Engineer position for an individual who is technically proficient, deeply customer-focused, and passionate about enhancing the sales engineering process.
You will engage directly with real deals: conducting technical discovery, designing integrations, and leading demonstrations that illustrate precisely how Rox fits within customer environments. Your role extends beyond implementation; you will identify inefficiencies within the sales process and implement improvements, enhancing demo experiences, refining technical narratives, and elevating standards for future team members.

What You’ll Do
Rapidly become an expert on Rox’s product, understanding its architecture, use cases, and customer workflows
Collaborate with Sales to conduct impactful technical demos and support deals from initial contact to closure
Design and communicate integrations across data warehouses, CRMs, AI agents, and contemporary GTM tools
Lead technical discovery discussions that reveal genuine customer challenges, beyond mere requirements
Translate complex technical concepts into straightforward, actionable solutions for clients
