Director of Client Engagement
As the Director of Client Engagement at Enable Dental, you will play a pivotal role in leading our Account Management team while personally managing vital client relationships. This hands-on leadership position allows you to guide a team of talented Account Managers and oversee a diverse portfolio of approximately 30 accounts. You will be instrumental in fostering strong client relationships, addressing escalations, and ensuring that every client feels valued through senior-level partnership. Reporting directly to the COO, this role merges strategic oversight with active client involvement.

Role Overview
This position carries a dual mandate. As a leader, you will hire, develop, and hold accountable a team of Account Managers, create scalable processes for client success, and report on portfolio health and growth to the executive team. As a practitioner, you will manage a select portfolio of accounts, participate in critical client discussions, step in as a leadership resource when challenges arise, and ensure no client relationship is overlooked.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and nurture a team of three Account Managers, establishing clear objectives, conducting regular one-on-one meetings, and fostering a culture of accountability and client-centric thinking.
- Develop and enhance scalable account management processes, playbooks, and tools that boost consistency and performance across the team.
- Oversee department-level reporting, including portfolio health, retention metrics, growth indicators, and team performance KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Clinical teams to ensure smooth transitions and coordinated execution across functions.
- Provide mentorship and create professional development pathways to elevate team capabilities.
- Directly manage a defined portfolio of accounts, overseeing the entire relationship lifecycle from onboarding to growth and renewal.
- Maintain active engagement across all accounts to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
