Position Overview:
As the Senior Manager of PPC Marketing, you will be the principal operator and leader for Certus's PPC initiatives. You will oversee performance across a diverse portfolio of brands and verticals, leading a team of six PPC managers at varying levels of experience. In collaboration with the Director of Digital Marketing, you will execute the vision and ensure the PPC function operates with coherence and accountability.
Your responsibilities will encompass managing paid search campaigns across approximately 100 domains and five verticals, handling an annual budget of $26 million, which is projected to expand. You will navigate the complexities of regulated industries, influencing everything from ad copy to landing page strategies. Your decisions will have a significant impact.
This role requires versatility; you will engage in strategic discussions, nurture and develop your team, and, when necessary, execute campaigns alongside your team members to ensure success. You will serve as a vital link between strategic vision and operational execution, aligning your team's daily activities with the overarching goals of leadership.
Performance Expectations:
You will be fully accountable for the performance metrics of the PPC function:
Profit, revenue, return on ad spend (ROAS), and pacing across all verticals and brands.
Budget allocation and forecasting at the vertical level.
Channel innovation, including new campaign types, platform features, AI-driven testing, and automation.
Creation of vertical-specific playbooks in collaboration with Product, PMM, SEO, Social, CRM, and Analytics teams.
Quality assurance, governance, and measurement integrity to safeguard spend and brand reputation.
