What We Are Looking For:
The Production Operator plays a crucial role in loading component parts into automated assembly while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Your Responsibilities:
- Utilize PLEX to manage inventory for the cell, load components, document production, pack according to instructions, create labels, and report any issues concerning parts or machinery.
- Notify Team Leaders and/or Supervisors regarding machinery failures and substandard parts.
- Ensure all products adhere to inspection checklists and work instructions.
- Record inspection results and document any non-conformances.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work environment.
- Assist with internal and external audits as required.
- Consistently identify opportunities for quality and process enhancements.
- Cross-train in various work centers as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Shift Schedule:
This is a 3rd Shift position from 10 PM to 6 AM, Sunday through Thursday, located at our Walker, MI plant. Occasionally, you may be required to arrive early, stay late, or work weekends to meet customer demands or urgent requests.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
