The ideal candidate for the Account Executive role will proactively engage in networking, cold-calling, and selling to various contacts within organizations, including C-level executives. This individual will cultivate and manage client relationships while employing a consultative sales approach that ensures the highest standard of account management services. The Account Executive should empathize with the goals and challenges of clients and possess a deep understanding of available technology partners and products to effectively address their needs. This position is predominantly remote, with some regional travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve consistent sales and profitability targets.
  • Configure, position, and provide quotes for product and service solutions to clients.
  • Engage with industry organizations such as ISSA, ISACA, and OWASP.
  • Manage leads and opportunities utilizing Salesforce and other CRM tools.
  • Provide accurate and consistent sales forecasts and maintain opportunity funnels.
  • Contribute to the creation, editing, and finalization of service proposals.
  • Collaborate with GuidePoint Security vendors to understand and effectively communicate their technologies and value propositions to clients.
  • Participate in field marketing initiatives to generate interest and disseminate information within the client prospect community, including driving attendance to relevant events.
  • Serve as a representative of GuidePoint Consultants to clients, articulating our areas of expertise.
  • Set realistic expectations and maintain transparent communication with clients and vendors throughout the sales process.
  • Leverage supporting resources in a collaborative manner during the sales process.
  • Develop and deliver professional sales presentations to large groups and executive-level clients.
