Qualifications
Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of a personal sales quota, driving growth in datacentre, private cloud, connectivity, and data protection services. Build, manage, and close a balanced pipeline of opportunities from both existing clients and self-generated prospects. Identify, qualify, and cultivate new business opportunities through direct engagement, networking, and targeted prospecting focused on mid-market clients. Collaborate with Account Managers and Business Development teams to shape and finalize complex datacentre and cloud deals. Serve as a subject matter expert in datacentre and cloud solutions during customer interactions. Lead and assist in crafting customized, client-centric infrastructure and managed service solutions. Translate customer needs into commercially viable proposals aligned with ARO’s delivery capabilities. Work cross-functionally with sales, technical, and service delivery teams to ensure effective solution design and execution. Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and visibility across all opportunities. Directly engage customers to communicate the value of resilient infrastructure and services.

ARO is on the lookout for a skilled Account Manager specializing in Datacentre and Managed Services to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal position, you will spearhead growth initiatives across our managed private cloud, complex connectivity, and data protection offerings.
Your role will involve collaborating closely with Group Account Managers and Business Development teams to discover, develop, and secure datacentre and cloud opportunities within our existing client base, particularly focusing on the mid-market segment. You will also be responsible for building your own pipeline, nurturing direct customer relationships, and identifying new business avenues that align with ARO’s strategic goals in datacentre and managed services.
