Role overview

This San Francisco-based Accountant position focuses on operational and technical accounting, financial reporting, and treasury activities within a growing fintech company serving small businesses. The role helps shape efficient accounting processes and delivers accurate, timely financial information as Parafin expands and its operations become more complex.

What you will do

  • Oversee both operational and technical accounting tasks
  • Support financial reporting and treasury operations
  • Collaborate across product areas, including lending, business credit cards, and deposit accounts
  • Manage cash movements and perform account reconciliations
  • Develop technical accounting policies
  • Design financial controls
  • Streamline month-end close and reporting processes
