Role overview
The Admissions Call Center Representative joins the corporate admissions team in Virginia Beach, VA. This position focuses on reaching out to prospective students by phone, sharing initial program details, and passing qualified leads to campus admissions staff. Success in this role is measured by call volume, the quality of conversations, and the number of successful lead transfers.
Key responsibilities
- Connect with prospective students in a high-volume, dialer-driven call center
- Share accurate and timely information about programs and admissions steps
- Evaluate interest and eligibility, then transfer qualified inquiries to campus admissions teams
- Monitor daily goals and track call metrics
Compensation
Hourly pay: $20–$22, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule options
- Monday to Thursday, 10am–9pm (four ten-hour shifts, with Friday through Sunday off)
- Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm, with 1–2 Saturdays per month (9am–5pm). When working a Saturday, a day off is provided earlier in the week.
